20 Queer Flags is a body of digital work that explores how artificial intelligence (AI) represents queer people and the resulting implications of these representations. Novak generated 20 images with AI (artificial intelligence) using the prompt “A flag that represents all queer people”. This body of work links to Velebit, a hypothetical organisation developed by Novak that aims to grow safety in relationships between LGBTQI+ communities and emerging technologies.
